Financial Needs
It is anticipated that LINC will be financed by a series of increasing
investments that are matched to the successful completion of defined
corporate milestones. In general, we anticipate that seed financing will be
followed by two rounds of financing in order to fund completion of
Phase-II clinical studies. The overall investment needed to complete this
level of corporate development is approximately $24 million over a 5
year period.
o An initial mix of Angel and SBIR funding of $2.0 million to support
additional proof-of-concept preclinical pharmacology studies.
o Series A financing of $4.5 million within 12-18 months to complete
an initial IND and complete Phase-I clinical studies.
o Series B financing of $18 million within 36 months to formulate target
compounds into aerosol formulations and conduct clinical studies
through Phase-II.
